Catholic University Students

What’s so wrong with wanting to be Catholic in a Catholic university?

Why is it that the students are the ones demanding Holy Hours, pro-life groups, rosaries, and orthodox speakers? Why should they have to fight the administration to get these? Why should any Catholic university be afraid of “offending” students/faculty/staff who have knowingly chosen to attend/teach at/work at a Catholic university? Is there any good reason?

If there is, well, excuse my ignorance. I personally find the current state of nearly all Catholic universities ridiculous.

Pax Christi,
a Catholic university student

You know, I have found that there are Catholic universities and there are campuses with chapels somewhere on the grounds. It sounds like you go to the latter (as do I).

Hi Angela, my name is Rebecca, and I’m running the Catholic and in Film School blog. I’ve read yours a few times and I just wanted to tell you I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve read. Please come by and visit my blog sometime. (And feel free to look me up on facebook under the name “Rebecca Elizabeth”.)

Pax Christi, Rebecca.
