poem – Jesus

Jesus
I enter Your house,
And I understand why
they left their nets
and followed You.

Oh Jesus
My whole body knows that You are here.
My chest is filled and bursting with love
It flows through me like blood and oxygen
It becomes my atmosphere
You become my only concern

Jesus
Jesus
I want to stay
Let me kneel at your feet a little longer
Basking in the only place
Where Love is certain

Let Your name be the song my heart sings;
A never-ending ballad
Each time more sweet than the last

Jesus
Jesus
You are the most beautiful
Lord and Master
Jesus
Jesus
God above all gods
Humble still
Jesus
Most glorified shall Your name be forever
Stay with me
Speak with me
Help and protect me

So strong
So consuming is Your very presence, Jesus.
All else falls away

Jesus
All of my worries must fall at Your name
